Under Maltese law and EU Directive 2019/771, Our products are covered by a 24-month legal guarantee from the date of purchase, protecting you against lack of conformity with the sales contract. For the first 12 months, any fault is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless proven otherwise. For the remaining 12 months, the consumer must prove the fault existed at delivery.
This legal guarantee applies regardless of installation method.

Commercial Warranty by Xtras:

In addition to your legal rights, CarsXtras.com provides a 12-month commercial warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use.
This commercial warranty is valid only if the dashcam is installed by a qualified professional installer.

Terms & Conditions (Commercial Warranty):

Covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Does not cover:

Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, or improper installation.

Water damage, fire damage, or exposure to extreme conditions.

Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage.

Any damage to the vehicle, including battery drain, particularly if the battery is old, weak, or not well maintained.

Proof of purchase from CarsXtras.com or an authorised supplier is required for any warranty claim.

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

We are also not liable for any damage to your vehicle, its electrical system, or its battery, including battery drain.

Perfomance:

It’s important to format the SD card every 2–3 weeks and check that it’s working properly. This helps maintain reliable performance and ensures your dashcam continues recording without issues.
